Business Rules for Generating Reports

Description

  1. When entering User-defined date ranges, the information displayed on the report will include up to the amount of Deposit Account History your company subscribes to. You can set a date range of up to 18 months.
  2. The title displayed on the report consists of three lines: Title, Name of the Report, Date Range.

  3. If you have defined a title in the Balance Reporting ‘My Preferences’ page.
    If you have not defined a title, your Company’s Name will be displayed as it is defined in the Company Profile.

    Name of Report Display
    The Name of the Report will be one of the eight Bank defined report names since all reports are based on these reports. This name cannot be changed.
  4. BAI, CSV and Tab Delimited output formats are generated off-line. You will automatically be directed to the Receive Reports page to download the requested report.
  5. ‘Report (PDF)’ - output format is viewed directly via the Balance Reporting Service unless the request is extremely large in which case the report is generated off-line and you will be directed to the Receive Reports page.
  6. To print a ‘Report (PDF)’ - output format you must use your browser print functionality.
  7. To save a ‘Report (PDF)’ to your PC or network drive you must use your browser ‘Save As’ functionality.
  8. To view BAI, CSV or Tab Delimited output format reports you must use an external application (e.g. Microsoft® Excel).
  9. The maximum number of reports available in the ‘My Reports’ dropdown is 25 User-defined Reports and 8 Bank-defined Reports.
  10. The order of the 'My Reports' dropdown list is based on the sort order specified in the Edit My Reports page.
