Send File

Description

The Send File function allows you to send files created from outside applications to TD Bank for processing.

Any File Transfer right allows a user to access the Send File page. However, you can only choose to send files to which your System Administrator has provided you access. Refer to the User Profile page for more information on your rights profile.

Maximum File Size
TD will not accept any file that is greater than 10,000 KB. Files greater than 10,000 KB may be compressed using WinZip® or compatible software. Files compressed using non WinZip® compatible software will not be processed an error message will be presented advising you that the file was not accepted

TD will not accept files greater than 10,000 KB compressed. You must split the file into two or more files and re-send to TD.

Record of Sent Files
Files sent to TD are recorded in the Activity List for 35 calendar days from the date/time the file was received by TD. Note: The Activity List does not indicate whether the file has been processed successfully, it records only that TD has received your file. To ensure the file has been processed refer to the application file acknowledgement, if applicable.

How do I Send a File?

  1. Select a service from the service dropdown
  2. Select a file description from the file description dropdown
  3. Click Continue
  4. Click Browse and select the file to send to TD
  5. Click Send to Bank
